Characters/Pairings: Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter, Narcissa Malfoy, Voldemort; Draco/Harry
Rating: 6th/7th Years
Warnings: Character Death, Slash, Violence, Mental Disorders, Mild Profanity, Dark Themes
Author’s Note: So this didn’t turn out quite like I’d expected, but I hope you like it. My initial inspiration was Leave Out All the Rest, much to the tune of Draco wanting Harry not to think ill of him before he died, but then it sort of spiralled into inspiration drawn from Call Me by Shinedown. Either way, both are incredible songs and fit the story. I hope you like it, even if major Trio Era characters aren’t your thing. However, Dark/Angst very much is.
( “Say hello to your executioner for me, Potter.”Collapse )
Rating: Sixth-Seventh Years
Warnings (if any): Sexual Situations, Mild Profanity
Author’s Note: Thank you to Lily who betaed this, even if she shouldn’t have. Inspiration for this story came from the general theme of unhealthy relationships in Soraya’s song choices, but one that resonated with me was Turning Tables, specifically the line “Where love is lost your ghost is found”.
Final note: Happy holidays, Soraya! I hope this tickles your fancy and gives you a smile.
( Louis turned to go to his bedroom, but Lily grabbed tightly onto his wrist. “That wasn’t quite what I had in mind.”Collapse )
Rating: 3rd-5th years
Warnings (if any): Mild sexual situations, profanity, mentions of student/teacher romance
Author’s Note: Merry Christmas, Maple!
Rating: 3rd-5th years
Warnings (if any): Mild Profanity, Sexual Situations
Author’s Note: This was beta’ed by Nora/Eleanor Lupin, and the lyrics in the title and subtitles belong to It’s Oh So Quiet by Bjork. I’m so sorry, Sophie, because I seem incapable of writing anything other than straight angst (or gay angst, in this case, lol). I hope you enjoy this anyway. Merry Christmas!
Characters/Pairings: The Marauders and Lily
Rating: 3rd-5th years
Warnings (if any): substance abuse, mild profanity,
Author’s Note: Thank you to Ari/Royari for betaing so rapidly and excellently.
Helena, I hope you have a lovely Christmas and that this is a suitably amusing story for you.
***( “Can you smell the cake?” Sirius asked, pausing in the doorway. Without waiting for an answer, he came right into the room and leaned on the end of the bed. “Because I have a plan.”Collapse )

Character/Pairings: Katie/Leanne. Yusssss. There are also mentions of Katie/Cedric :)
A/N: Thanks so, so much to my amazing beta, Sarah, for her fantastic and super-quick editing, and for giving me a much-needed kick up the arse :P
Happy Christmas, Alex! I hope you enjoy it. I think you’re fabulous :)
Also—I don't think it was ever mentioned who was Head Girl in HBP, so I took a liberty and made that person Leanne. (If it was mentioned, then sorry :S)
*I basically Wikied Laura Marling’s discography and used this song of hers, Flicker and Fail—the title, and a few lines which you might recognise are paraphrased in the story too, although it’s only very loosely based on the song.
And I kind of used the “nightmare” prompt too. I hope it’s okay that I threw in a rarepair as well :)
( Leanne can't stand it a moment longer; she looks away from Katie, trying, fruitlessly, to hide the tears that have sprung from her eyes. Katie, however, doesn’t seem to have registered this as she peers at Leanne more closely.Collapse )
